Wine tasting workshop with expert sommelier!
Join us for an exploration of the flavors and territories of Romagna through a wine tasting workshop led by renowned sommelier Andrea Spada, Italy's first sommelier in 1994-95.
During this workshop, you will have the opportunity to taste three distinct glasses of wine, accompanied by our Romagna breads: the "Pane Sciocco" and the "Pane Brusco," both made with Molino Spadoni's finest flours.
We will explore together the different expressions of three territories of Romagna: Modigliana, Bertinoro and Predappio, through the region's iconic grape variety, Sangiovese. The focus of the tasting will be on the concept of terroir and its influence on the yield of the grape variety.
Tasting:
- ROMAGNA SANGIOVESE LIMBECCA 2018 AZ. Paolo Francesconi: A pure Sangiovese produced on the first hills of Faenza, characterized by clay soils and grown biodynamically.
- ROMAGNA SANGIOVESE RISERVA OMBROSO 2017 AZ. Madonia: Hailing from Bertinoro, this wine has undergone a long aging in barriques and in the bottle, turning out at times austere, rich and with incisive tannins. Excellent with meat dishes and ideal for moments of meditation.
- ROMAGNA SANGIOVESE "PREDAPPIO" 2020 AZ. Chiara Condello: A wine from Predappio that stands out for its aging in both wooden barrels and steel containers, respecting to the utmost the varietal characteristics of Sangiovese, thanks also to the organic management of the vineyards.
The experience will be enhanced by a guided tour of the Covered Market, where you will have the opportunity to discover the history, architecture and food and wine thinking of the place, thus completing a sensory journey through the wines and flavors of Romagna.
