Wine tasting workshop with expert sommelier!
Immerse yourself in a unique experience with our wine tasting workshop led by an expert sommelier, Maestro Andrea Spada, Italy's first sommelier in 1994-95.
During this tasting, you will have the opportunity to enjoy three carefully selected glasses of wine, accompanied by our traditional Romagnola breads: the "Pane Sciocco," characteristic bread without salt, and the "Pane Brusco," made with type 1 stone-ground flour from the famous Molino Spadoni flours.
Sommelier Andrea Spada will take you through three different interpretations of Romagna Albana wine, one of the region's most renowned grape varieties:
- Romagna Albana "A" 2022 AZ. Monticino Rosso: a dry and versatile wine, awarded "3 Glasses" Gambero Rosso 2021, with notes of apricot, peach, hazelnut and herbaceous nuances.
- Romagna Albana Tantalilli 2018 AZ. Tozzi: an intense and mineral wine, with hints of grapefruit, apricot and saffron, expressing the strong minerality of the sandy and clay soil of the Vena del Gesso Romagnola.
- Romagna Albana Vitalba 2020 AZ. Tre Monti: a full-bodied and complex wine, vinified with maceration on the skins in Georgian amphorae, with aromas of exotic fruit, dried yellow fruit and herbs.
This experience will be enriched by a guided tour of the Covered Market, curated by the staff, which will allow you to discover the history, architecture and food and wine appeal of the place, thus completing a journey through the flavors and aromas of Romagna.
